How to Use Duo, Slo-Mo and Echo Effects in Instagram Story | How To KR

To offer Snapchat and Tik-Tok rivalry, Facebook Owned Instagram now has new functionality in the app, and this latest feature includes Duo effects for Boomerang, Slo-Mo, and Echo. All of these additional features are now available with the recent release to Instagram.

The Slo-Mo functionality allows users to play or film a certain video in slow motion. This new feature on Instagram will allow users to trim their Boomerang clips according to their needs.

Echo Effects allows the user to smudge their video clips and also allows users to add a trial to the specific subject. Instagram users can now apply blur effects to their images.

Duo effect adds glitches to your video content. This latest functionality on Instagram will allow users to introduce vertical line glitches, and when users apply the Duo effect to their videos, the speed of the clip will however increase a little. You should update to the latest version of Instagram before you can use these new features.

Step 1. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone, and then press the profile icon from the left corner of the screen.

Step 2. Now Slide through the given effects and then pick the Boomerang mode.

Step 3. Now you need to capture the boomerang video, and then just click the 'Infinity' icon from the top right corner.

Step 4. You'll see four icons: 1st is for Classic Effect, 2nd is for Slo-Mo Effect, 3rd is for an Echo Effect and 4th is a Duo Effect. Choose the one you like.

Step 5. Come on. After the effects are over, press the 'Send' button to upload your videos with a new effect.

The whole process is quick, all you need to do is create a boomerang video by choosing a story option. After you've finished creating a boomerang video, you just need to click on the "Infinity" icon in the top section and choose from the given Slo-Mo, Echo, and Duo Effects. You need to drag the slider to the position to shorten your clip, and then click the post button.

With all of these features, you can also add visual effects and emoticon to your video clips like any other Instagram post.
